Luxury foraged food producers Wild Cornwall have set off for the Specialty and Fine Food Fair to meet with trade buyers Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum and Mason.
Wild Cornwall have taken their home county by storm since their launch in March of this year and are now commencing an aggressive expansion into London and beyond.
“Seeing our beautiful and unique products on the shelves of the most prestigious stores in the UK will be our biggest milestone to date” says Anna Pardoe.
Wild Cornwall started as a small gift crate company born from the desire to share the seasonal delights of Cornwall with friends and family. Over the last few months they have developed with astonishing speed into one of the pioneering brands of New Cornwall; sleek, sophisticated and elegant whilst firmly rooted in the wild.
Inspired by nature and the seasons, all Wild Cornwall creations feature foraged, wild or heritage superstar ingredients and showcase the small scale produce of their sustainable Roseland farm.
Ranging from sauces and condiments to pickles and liqueurs Wild Cornwall has a diverse selection of produce designed to celebrate lesser known, heritage ingredients from our fields and hedgerows to substitute more common imported flavours like vanilla and chilli.
Last month four of their newest products were considered by the Taste of The West judging panel, with all four earning either Silver or Gold awards for 2022.
Having cut their teeth on the tourist trade passing through Cornwall this summer, Wild Cornwall are now looking to branch out and expand their offering to the wider world and are hoping to captivate and engage audiences who might not be familiar with the wild food heritage of Britain.
With their stylish luxury branding and sophisticated feel it wont be long before Wild Cornwall produce is gracing the shelves of the largest and most exclusive trade venues in the country, and this trip to the Speciality and Fine Food Show will hopefully facilitate the commencement of these relationships.
