Pine Needle Syrup by Anna

Ingredients:

– 4 cups fresh pine spruce needles
– 8 cups water
– 2 cup sugar

Directions:

Heat the water and sugar together and stir until dissolved.

Remove from the heat.

Add the pine needles and let cool.

The syrup will keep in the fridge for about a month and can be used to make an interesting syrup, refreshing cordial or to add a wild twist to a classic lemon drizzle.
