Rose and Calendula Sweet Chilli Sauce


Our Rose & Calendula Sweet Chilli Sauce is the perfect combination of sweet and spice. Using our own grown calendula and roses, to infuse this tangy sauce.

Over on the Cornish Roseland we cultivate flower crops for their beneficial carotenoids and flavonoids; delicate rose and earthy calendula are a match made in heaven in this sweet chilli sauce. Our favourite use for this bestseller is poured liberally over poached eggs or sweetcorn fritters!

A sweet and spicy blend of fragrant Cornish meadow flowers.

Away from the homegrown ingredients, Calendula and Rose, we use the wild ingredient, Arsesmart, or otherwise known as Water Pepper. This can be found down by riverbanks, estuaries, stream edges, damp ditches and even fields which are prone to flooding. There are quite a few plants that look like Arsesmart; however, it only takes one bite to know if you’ve got the right plant. The leaves are hot and peppery.

Ingredients: Water, Vinegar (Sulphur Dioxide), Sugar, Ginger, Garlic, Birdseye Chillis, Lime, Soy Sauce (Soya, Wheat), Salt, Xanthan Gum, Black Peppercorns, Chilli Flakes, Calendula Petals, Rose Petals, Rose Essence.
